Participants at the Te Waipounamu Māori Leadership Wānaka for Cancer 2011 endorsed the establishment of Te Kāhui Kaihautū Māori Leadership Group.
It is intended that the group will meet quarterly at venues around the South Island. A mail requesting expressions of interest will be sent, stating a timeframe for responses.
Draft Terms of Reference for the group have been developed.
